The Animal Crossing Challenge Mod, by one of my favorite modders Kawaiistacie (check out her others mods!), allows you to have an Animal Crossing experience on the Sims 4, particularly awesome for those who don't have access to the game itself! The challenge basically involves beginning on an empty plot of land with a similar set up as Animal crossing (with a tent, grill, crafting table, mailbox etc.). You then receive challenges to explore and also gain gardening, crafting, fishing, and other similar skills! You can read more about the setup on the her website (link below!)

Create new sim with "Animal Crossing" Aspiration- found in Nature Aspiration Category. (5:07)
Move them into an empty lot- with grill, tent, crafting table, shower/tub (off the grid), fishing spot, mailbox. (6:35)
Build and furnish house- with earning received from challenges and created with crafting table. (11:16)
Wait for welcome wagon- talk to townies and continue to get tasks and challenges (in notification tab and the aspiration icon), don't forget to check the mailbox. (11:49)
Step 1: GO TO WEBSITE
Step 2: Click on "Click Here," under "Download Now." You will then be brought to MediaFire. Once it loads, click "Download."
P.S. Don't forget to update this mod every time there is a patch note for The Sims 4. You must redownload this mod every time and delete previously downloaded files. Check the date it the mod was last updated.
Step 3: Once it downloads, open in downloads folder.
Step 4: Unzip (using file opener, recommended: free 7-Zip), by double clicking on the folder, and then move contents of folder to your mods folder:
Documents>Electronic Arts>Sims 4>Mods
OR (if you want to organize your mods)
Documents>Electronic Arts>Sims 4>Mods> Animal Crossing (Create this new folder)
Step 5: Start the game up!
WARNING: MAKE SURE YOUR Custom Content Mods AND Script Mods ARE ON ENABLED (checked) IN YOUR GAME OPTIONS!
